Summer Student Open House

Find your fit with Springwater at our upcoming open house for High School and Post-secondary School Students. On December 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. drop by the Township of Springwater Administration Centre, located at 2231 Nursery Road, in Minesing for an exciting opportunity to learn about a variety of summer jobs available with the Township of Springwater. Please note: We will not be conducting interviews or accepting job applications or resumes in person.

Each year the Township of Springwater hires summer students in many different departments to provide students with valuable work experience that can help them as they advance through their post-secondary studies. The Township also invites high school students looking for summer jobs to apply for roles in our Summer Day Camps.

Current Opportunities

Candidates are invited to register and create a profile online; by uploading a resume, the system will detect and input information into your user profile automatically. Candidates are requested to review the information for accuracy and completeness.

In an effort to improve the work-life balance of its employees, the Township of Springwater has permanently adopted a 4-day compressed work week option for staff. Participation in the 4-day work week program is optional and subject to the operational requirements of each department. The program is part of a broader Flexible Work Arrangement Policy, which also provides options for remote work, flexible work and hybrid work.

All employees follow a staff code of conduct that outlines the high standard of personal and professional conduct expected of Springwater employees. This code covers public relations, confidentiality and disclosure of information, conflict of interest and more.
